Scholarship Types, Requirements and Range of Funding
A scholarship student is selected based on the recommendation of the head professor and the approval of the President of the University after consideration by the Scholarship Committee.
The President of the University can determine a scholarship student even though that student is not qualified under the regulations.
In the selection of the students who get a scholarship from the school, students have to meet the following requirements:

- Woosong faculty, employees, as well as their spouses and children, can all receive a 50% off-tuition scholarship.
- New students can enjoy a 30% off-tuition scholarship. (International students only*)
- If student's GPA in the previous semester is less than 3.5 then no scholarship will be awarded.
- Students with scores less than TOPIK Level 3, less than IELTS 5.5, Less than Duoling English Test 85~90, or a GPA (in the previous semester) of over 3.5 but less than 4.0 can receive a 20% off-tuition scholarship.
- Students with scores over TOPIK Level 3, over IELTS 5.5, over Duoling English Test 85 but less than Duoling English Test 90 or a GPA (in the previous semester) of over 4.0 but less than 4.2 can receive a 25% off-tuition scholarship.
- Students with scores over TOPIK Level 4, over IELTS 6.0, over Duoling English Test 95 or a GPA (in the previous semester) of over 4.2 can receive a 30% off-tuition scholarship.
- The period of scholarships is four semesters for masters students.

- The period of scholarship is four semesters.
- Full-time students are those who are registered for over 6 credits during the semester.
- Students have to take over 6 credits excluding I (Incomplete) courses.
- Scholarships cannot be duplicated. (i.e., students cannot receive 2 scholarships at the same time.)
